The African Development Bank (AfDB), under the leadership of the Gender, Women and Civil Society Department, invites you to attend the Fashionomics Africa Masterclass on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 June 2018.
The Fashionomics Africa Masterclass will engage 150 Creative Entrepreneurs operating in the textile, apparel and accessories (TA&A) sector and intends to equip them with the tools and knowledge to build a fashion brand (from idea to execution). It will focus on business development, branding, marketing and networking as well as providing greater understanding of the challenges and opportunities African fashion entrepreneurs encounter in running their business.
This Masterclass is in line with the Fashionomics Africa initiative, through with the AfDB intends to support micro, small and medium-sized businesses in the fashion and textile industry in Africa by sharing best practices and offering exposure to international standards.
The capacity building activities will be rolled out in partnership with Google Digital Skills for Africa, NESTA, Parson School of Fashion and Africa Fashion International and will take place at OPEN SPACE in Maboneng - 4th Floor, 20 Kruger Street, The Mainchange Building, City & Suburban, 2094, South Africa.
The programme will be filled with exiciting activities, from targeted training sessions for entrepreneurs to networking opportunities with partners and guests.
